TYSON

I've always been intrigued by Mike Tyson's character, and this morning I finally got around to watching the movie about his life and career in boxing, TYSON. It's an interesting look into the psychology that gave rise to his reign, and ultimately destroyed him. Sure, the guy was crazy as a loon at several stages in his life, but I think there is something redeeming in his honesty with himself and others in admitting just that in these interviews. It's really worth checking out...

I guess Todd is intrigued as well, huh? Or maybe he just wants a solid for washing all dem whips.

Watched a large portion of this on showtime a few nights ago. Really interesting--for how 'stupid' he is, he's an articulate emmer effer in those later-life interviews.

While definitely way out there, his opinions and insights are pretty damn poignant.

You should check out "Chasing Ali" if you like to watch footage of half-dressed dudes hitting each other. it's a super interesting look at that era of boxing, though...It comes in book-version, too.
